CH 715 015 A2
Description Field of application [0001] The present invention relates to a technical piece of furniture comprising frames. In particular, the cabinet comprises frames equipped with crosspieces and uprights, being side by side along their respective uprights. The technical cabinet of the type mentioned above is used to accommodate heating or cooling machinery within the frame.
Prior art [0002] Technical furniture designed to accommodate hydraulic or electronic machinery in the home or office environment is known, such as for example the shelving for mounting heating or cooling machinery, normally fixed to the wall and equipped with support means o hooking machinery (boilers, air conditioning units, etc), or rack cabinets, on which switches, servers, etc ... are mounted and within which power and wiring cables are brought together of network.
[0003] These furniture and shelves are undoubtedly appreciated because they facilitate the operations of setting up the machinery. However, they also suffer from significant disadvantages.
[0004] First of all, the known shelves leave exposed both the machinery and the related wiring or pipes.
[0005] Especially in the home or in the office or in public buildings, leaving technical equipment on view is not appreciated or particularly safe. From an aesthetic point of view, such equipment and related wiring are considered a nuisance for the furniture and the environment in general; from a functional point of view, on the other hand, it is considered preferable to isolate the machinery in a separate and unfrequented room, to avoid contact with the inhabitants or customers, and consequent damage to the equipment or danger to people.
[0006] In fact, normally, the problems mentioned above are remedied by dedicating rooms or closets to the reception of technical furniture and shelves, an inevitable waste of space. In addition, even if a storage room of the type mentioned above is available, it is sometimes necessary to install new machinery, for example to add a new air conditioning unit or replace the boiler with a new boiler, of different sizes. These normal variations and changes of the machinery, also due to their wear, entail modifications of the shelving units designed to accommodate them, in particular the addition of new shelving units which tend to saturate the space available and make the room more and more difficult to use.
[0007] The technical problem underlying the present invention is that of devising a technical piece of furniture suitable for overcoming all the above-mentioned drawbacks, in particular allowing to optimize the space in a home, office or public environment, capable of supporting possible modifications, replacements or additions of machinery, and increase safety for people, without however affecting the aesthetic value of the furniture.
Summary of the invention [0008] The idea behind the present invention is to devise a modular technical cabinet suitable for accommodating all the heating and / or cooling machinery of a home or office, as well as other kinds of electronic devices such as a rack cabinets to which the cabling of a computer network flows, but also suitable for accommodating the sections of hydraulic pipes or electrical or network cabling that are connected to said machinery or devices, substantially grouping them neatly and by compartments , and facilitating the kidnapped connection inside the technical furniture. The idea behind the invention is also that of not leaving any visible pipes or wiring, and of giving the technical furniture a structural and aesthetic appearance similar to that of a furniture intended for a typical domestic use, for example a pantry or a living room furniture, thus allowing to integrate the technical furniture in living rooms, without therefore having to prepare the so-called technical room or boiler room in the home.
[0009] On the basis of this solution idea, the technical problem is solved by a modular technical cabinet comprising at least two modular frames, each frame comprising cross members and uprights, the cross members being fixed together forming a quadrangular frame to a base of the frame. and a corresponding quadrangular frame supported at a predetermined height from the base by means of the uprights, the uprights being fixed to the crosspieces of the quadrangular frames and at least two frames being side by side along each other along the uprights; the cabinet is characterized by the fact that at least one of the first frames is intended to accommodate a heating or cooling machine equipped with multiple connections for hydraulic pipes and / or electric cables, and by the fact that at least one of the crossbeams or uprights of at least one second of the frames comprises one or more spacer attachments, where at least one spacer is applied, through its first end, to a respective attachment of the crosspiece or upright and, through its second end, supports a collar, the collar being designed to maintain a predetermined distance between the crossbar or the upright and one of the hydraulic pipes or electric cables along a section of the frame where the hydraulic pipe or electric cable is not attached to the heating or cooling machine.
[0010] Advantageously, the technical cabinet can be initially adopted to enclose a heating machinery, for example a boiler, and placed in a room where the water and electricity pipes necessary for supplying the boiler terminate, closing concealed both heating machinery and i
CH 715 015 A2 sections of the pipes that are connected to this machine. For example, in this case, a first frame of the furniture can be arranged for the reception of the machinery and a second frame placed side by side with the first frame can be designed to receive and guide the pipes and electric cables, as will be clear from the description detailed of the invention. Furthermore, if at a later time it is necessary to install another machinery, for example for cooling the environment or a rack cabinet, a third frame can be placed side by side and structurally connected to one of the two frames already used, thus developing the extension of the mobile, thus concealing also the added machinery.
Further advantages and characteristics of the modular technical cabinet of the present invention will become clear from a description of one of its embodiments given with reference to the attached drawings for illustrative and non-limiting purposes only.

Detailed description [0013] With reference to the attached figures, an embodiment of a piece of furniture according to the present invention is described below, generally indicated with reference number 1. The piece of furniture is a technical piece of furniture, in particular a modular technical piece of furniture, designed for the reception of hydraulic or electronic machinery in the home or office, such as heating or cooling machinery, boilers, air conditioning units, but also possibly switches, servers, etc.
The furniture 1 comprising at least two modular frames 2, each comprising crosspieces 4, 5 and uprights
3. The crosspieces 4, 5 are fixed together forming a quadrangular frame 11 to a base of the frame 2 and a corresponding quadrangular frame 14 supported at a predetermined height from the base, by means of the uprights 3. The uprights 3 are fixed to the crosspieces 4, 5 of the quadrangular frames. At least two frames 2 are side by side along each other uprights 3.
[0015] There is nothing to prevent the development of the technical furniture from being vertical and not (only) horizontal. In this case, at least two frames 2 are superimposed, for example in correspondence to the quadrangular frame at a predetermined height of a first lower frame, and to the quadrangular base frame of a second upper frame, superimposed on the lower frame.
[0016] According to the present invention, at least one of the first frames 2 is intended to house a heating or cooling machine 100 equipped with multiple connections for hydraulic pipes 50 and / or electric cables. At least one of the crosspieces 4, 5 or uprights 2 of at least one second of the frames 2 comprises one or more spacer connections 7. At least one spacer 7 is applied, by means of its first end 7a, to a respective attachment of the crosspiece or of the upright and, through its second end 7b, supports a collar 6.
The collar 6 is intended to maintain a predetermined distance between the crosspiece or post 4, 5 and one of the hydraulic pipes 50 or electrical cables along a section of the frame 2 where the hydraulic tube or electrical cable is not certified to the heating or cooling machine. In particular, the hydraulic hose and / or the electric cables are intended to pass within one or collars 6. Collars of different diameters are provided, including collars for hydraulic inlet or outlet water pipes, for example, for the home network or intended at the exhaust, and collars for electric pipes, for example flexible pipes. In one embodiment the collars are adjustable in diameter.
[0018] According to an embodiment of the invention, the quadrangular frame 11 at the base of the frame 2 and the opposite quadrangular frame 14 at the predetermined height are formed by four respective crosspieces 4,5.1 spacers 7 are applicable to the crosspieces 4, 5 of the quadrangular frames 11, 14 and extend into quadrangular frames 11, 14 (not
CH 715 015 A2 shown) and / or inside the frame 2. The collars 6 supported by the spacers which extend within the quadrangular frames 11, 14 have an axis substantially parallel to the uprights 3 and the collars 66 supported by the spacers which extend within the frame 2 have an X axis substantially parallel to the crosspieces 4.
[0019] Preferably, the quadrangular frame 11 at the base of the frame 2 and / or the opposite quadrangular frame 14 at said predetermined height comprise an additional crosspiece 12 parallel to two of the crosspieces 4 of the quadrangular frame 11 at the base and / or of the quadrangular frame. opposite 14. The spacers 7 are applicable to the additional crosspiece 12 and extend from the additional crosspiece 12 to one of the parallel crosspieces and / or within the frame 2. The collars supported by the spacers which extend from the additional crosspiece 12 to one of the parallel crosspieces have an axis substantially parallel to the uprights 3 and the collars 66 supported by the spacers which extend from the additional crosspiece 12 into the frame 2 have an X axis substantially parallel to the crosspieces 4.
Further, the cabinet can comprise a further additional crosspiece 13 applied between two uprights 3. In this case, the spacers 777 are applicable to the further additional 13 and extend from the further additional crosspiece 13 within the frame 2. The collars 666 supported by the spacers 777 applied to the additional additional crosspiece 13 have an X axis substantially parallel to the uprights 3.
[0021] The structure of the frame, of the spacers and of the collars described above allows to create a piece of furniture of the most suitable size to accommodate the machinery available, with the possibility of making extensions of the piece of furniture, with modular additions of other frames, and at the same time it allows you to precisely organize the path of the hydraulic pipes and electrical cables within one of the frames, as well as to optimize the space in the frame or frames used to house the machinery.
[0022] Preferably, at least the sides (26, 27) of the frames (2) which correspond to the sides 26, 27 of the furniture 1, modular cladding panels are applied, even more preferably sound-absorbing and thermally insulating.
[0023] The modular cladding panels comprise for example a panel 65 with a surface equal to the side surface of the cabinet 1 and panels 61.60 with a surface lower than the side surface of the cabinet 1, applicable to the uprights 3 and the crosspieces 4, 5, each panel of said lower surface being applicable to cover a corresponding portions of the lateral surface of the cabinet 1.
[0024] The frame 2 also includes an opening / closing leaf, preferably two leaves 71, 72 hinged to the uprights 3. The leaf or leaves are preferably applied to the frame intended to accommodate the hydraulic pipes or cables electric.
[0025] The cabinet is equipped with a bottom 80, a cover 90 and a base 95, applied to the uprights 3 and to the crosspieces 4, 5 of the frame, preferably sound-absorbing and thermally insulating.
[0026] In one embodiment, semi-dividing panels are provided between two frames 3. The semi-dividing panels leave free a passage between one frame and the other, for the passage of hydraulic pipes or electric cables. There are also access openings for the hydraulic pipes and electrical cables from outside the cabinet, for example from a wall inside which an electrical or hydraulic system is cemented. The openings can be in the bottom 80, in the cover 90 and / or in the base 95.
[0027] With assembled parts, the furniture 1 is a furniture similar to those commonly used in the home, for example a living room or kitchen pantry or an office furniture, possibly covered in wood or other material. Where provided during the design phase of a house, that the electric cables and hydraulic pipes can be brought together in a single location, for example in correspondence with a wall, the furniture can be advantageously placed next to the wall, welcoming and collecting the portion of the pipes protruding from the wall, intended to be connected to the machinery inside the cabinet.
[0028] Below are some other details of the furniture according to the invention.
[0029] Preferably, a liquid collection tank is applied to the base of the frame used to accommodate the hydraulic tube or electric cable.
The spacers can be adjustable, for example telescopic.
[0031] The cabinet can be enlarged by means of the simple operations described below, initially referring to fig. 2. In this fig. 2 the cabinet 1 is already assembled, and complete with the side panels. In the event of wanting to develop the furniture laterally, the left in fig. 2, panel 65 can be removed.
[0032] In one embodiment, the panel 65 is applied by means of quick attachment / release means which engage in the uprights and / or crosspieces. In this case, it is sufficient to pry in correspondence with the quick coupling / release means to remove the side panel 65. Of course, other fixing means can be used, while still remaining within the scope of protection of the present invention.
[0033] Still with reference to the cabinet shown in fig. 2, 3 frames 2 are side by side and fastened to each other. The lateral extension of the cabinet can be achieved by placing a fourth frame side by side. The fourth frame (or any other additional frame) can have the same height as the other frames but nothing prevents it from having a different height, for example by forming a modular furniture or «base» with a lower height than the other frames or modular furniture or «column »
CH 715 015 A2 higher than the other frames, as normally foreseen in the kitchens of homes. The fourth frame is preferably fixed to frame 2 shown on the left in fig. 2, for example by fixing between the uprights and / or the adjacent crosspieces.
[0034] Said fixing is preferably carried out by means of quick attachment / release. For example, the uprights and / or the crosspieces are provided with predetermined pitch holes and the quick coupling / release means comprise a head intended to snap-fit into the hole of the respective uprights and / or adjacent crosspieces.
[0035] When the fourth frame is fixed to the left frame in the example taken into consideration (fig. 2) the previously removed panel can be reapplied on the left side of the fourth frame. Of course, before assembly, the fourth frame can be finished with the respective cover, the base and the bottom and, if necessary, a dividing or partially dividing panel can be applied between the fourth frame and said left frame, in relation to the function of the fourth frame and in particular to the machinery it is designed to contain. A door can be applied before the fourth frame to concealed the machinery.
[0036] As shown in the figures, the uprights are fixed to the crosspieces by means of brackets, for example screwed. The uprights and crosspieces are preferably metal and tubular, for example with a square section. This section allows a simplified application of the teams and excellent structural resistance.
Finally, the panels can be equipped with pre-cuts which allow the simplified removal of a region of the panel enclosed by the pre-cut, with the formation of the access opening for the hydraulic and / or electric pipes. The pre-cut lines are preferably laid on the bottom panels. However, it is also expected to equip the side panels or the lid with pre-cut lines that are particularly useful for the application of ventilation grids or air inlet and outlet dubes, if required by air cooling or heating equipment.
